Lost Property is an arts collective based in and around Brighton, UK, with growing international associations. We are primarily involved in creating music, sound and art events that take place in forgotten, unconventional and evocative spaces.
Alongside our major bi-annual arts festival – Fort Process – we program film seasons, stage regular all-day experimental music events, and produce one-off special concerts celebrating sound art and music.
We’re delighted to present the debut season of LUMEN, the sound-related film programme we have put together with funding from Film Hub South East. It runs through September and October, and covers areas such as South African psychedlic rock, British improvised music, Japanese noise, and the composers Eliane Radigue and Alvin Lucier.
Lost Property is a non-profit organisation. We welcome donations to support our activities, especially those which do not receive external funding grants, such as Splitting The Atom, one-off events, exhibitions and various equipment and running costs.
